The Friends of Peacehaven Botanic Park invite you to a free presentation on Thursday 16 May at the Highfields Tavern.

Renowned agricultural research scientist and Highfields resident Dr Jeff Clewett will give a short presentation of background information on climate change; likely impacts; and adaptation options.

Jeff will follow his presentation by facilitating discussion that encourages the sharing of knowledge on topics such as ways to better protect flora and fauna species that may be threatened by climate change factors such as heatwaves, drought, flood, bush fires etc.

Our region has experienced most, if not all, these factors in recent times so join the Friends of Peacehaven Botanic Park for an informative evening to learn about the actions we can take to adapt our gardens for climate change.

The evening kicks off around 6.00 pm and dinner and drinks are at your own expense.

If you're planning to come along could you please email and let us know how many will be coming in your party so we can make sure there are enough seats for everyone.
