The Friends of Peacehaven Botanic Park invite you to a free presentation on Thursday 12 November at the Highfields Tavern. (corner or Highfields and Obrien Roads, Highfields).
After nearly 40 years with the DPI, retired Principal Horticulturist Peter Deuter will present the next Tavern Talk in our series dealing with the theme of managing our gardens and parks for a sustainable future in a changing environment,
Peter’s topic will cover one of the most essential natural elements - water.
Information and insights will cover points such as:
Why do plants need water?
How much water do plants need?
Can we measure what is being applied?
Will this lead to wiser water use?
The evening kicks off around 6.00 pm and dinner and drinks are at your own expense. The presentation will start around 7.00 pm
